Linkages Interagency Group

Linkages is a forum for Aged Care & Disability Service providers supporting the Glenorchy community to meet regularly to share information, build partnerships, evaluate needs, and plan for future service provision.


Linkages provides its members with the following:

  • Information exchange
  • Access to expertise
  • Improved knowledge of other services
  • Improved working relationships
  • Input into addressing and identifying gaps and needs
  • Development of partnerships
  • Shared resources
  • Up to date information on events, programs and service changes.

Linkages members include representatives from Government and non-Government organisations that offer care services to the aged, people with disabilities and carers within the City of Glenorchy.

 

Meetings:
Linkages meetings are held on the 3rd Thursday of the months, February, April, June, August, and November between 1.00 and 2.30 pm.

 

The meetings are coordinated and managed by Council’s Community Development Department.
