Personal Background and History
Alderman Stevenson was first elected to Council in 2010.
Alderman Stevenson has a background in project management within the finance industry. In his time in the finance industry he was involved in the integration of two major credit unions in a local merger and process efficiency and redesign projects.
He was formerly Will Hodgman's economic advisor while he was in opposition (now Tasmanian Premier) and now successfully runs his own small business.
His professional qualifications and affiliations include: Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Tasmania; Certificate III Financial Services; Project Practitioner – Prince2 certified and Board of Management - St Therese’s School.
He is a member of the Tasmanian Catholic Schools Parent’s Council, and a former board member of the Northern Suburbs Athletics Club.
