Glenorchy Volunteer CentreThe Glenorchy Volunteer Centre provides practical assistance to volunteers and organisations that involve volunteers.  Types of assistance we provide include:

  • Screening and referral of volunteers
  • Community Office

If you would like to discuss your volunteering options or wish to access other types of assistance, we would recommend making a time to come in for a chat.

We also have an outdoor area at the rear of the Volunteer Centre (looking out over the Derwent River) which can be booked by organisations. A portable BBQ is available for use, as well as small kitchen facilities.  Organisations may choose to have a BBQ at the Centre to reward their volunteers or to celebrate special occasions.

The Centre is located at 631 Main Road, Berriedale (postal address is PO Box 103, Glenorchy, 7010). Opening hours Tuesdays 10 am – 3 pm.

The Centre can be contacted by phone on (03) 6214 4571 or by using the contact form below.
