Adriana Taylor (Mayor)
Alderman Taylor was first elected to Council in March 1999, re-elected in October 2003 and elected as Mayor in October 2005.
Jim Manson (Deputy Mayor)
Alderman Jim Manson was elected to the Council in October 1996 and elected as Deputy Mayor in October 2005. Alderman Manson is Council's representative on the Board of the National Fitness Southern Recreation Association, Southern Waste Strategy Authority, the Glenorchy and Colinsvale Precincts, and is a proxy delegate to the council's planning committee.
Christine Lucas
Alderman Lucas is Director of Sales for Mercure Hotel Hobart. She was elected to Council in 1994 and is chair of the Regional Events coordination Group and a board member of the Southern Tourism Taskforce.
David Pearce
Alderman Pearce was elected to Council in the 2005 Local Government Elections and is serving his second term, having previously served from 1999 until 2002.
Haydyn Nielsen
Alderman Nielsen was elected to Council in November 2002. He lived in Rosetta for 30 years and now resides in West Moonah. He has been married to wife Sandra for 34 years and has 2 children.
Peter Ridler
Alderman Ridler was elected to Council in 1987.
Stuart Slade
Alderman Stuart Slade was first elected to Council in 1991. He is the longest serving Glenorchy Deputy Mayor having held that position from 1996 to 2005.
