Council Meetings Minutes and Agendas
Local Government (Meeting Procedures) Regulation 32 requires Council's General Manager to ensure that the minutes of a Council meeting accurately record specified details.
However, if a matter has been discussed “at a closed meeting”, Regulation 34 prescribes that the General Manager is only to record that the matter was discussed and that details of the outcome must not be recorded unless Council determines otherwise.
As soon as practicable but at least at the next ordinary meeting, minutes are to be circulated to all councillors and are to be confirmed as a true record at the next ordinary meeting. committee.
