Services for Children, Youth, Older People and People with a disability

Childrens Services

Choosing child care is one of the most important decisions you will make for your child. Child Care Connections have a professional, dedicated and friendly team who are trained and experienced. We offer a variety of care including daytime, after school and vacation care. We cater for early infants to 12 years in a range of settings including centre based, family day care and on site after school care

All of Glenorchy Child Care Services actively participate in the National, Child Care Quality Improvement and Accreditation system. This process ensures high standards of care are maintained throughout the city. Carers continually review their practice in light of current information and standards. Professional development and training is encouraged and resources made available so that our services can provide the very best for your child and your family.

Eating with Friends groups are operating throughout the State. Group information is available on the Eat Well Tasmania web at http://www.eatwelltas.com.au/olderaustralians.php

Garbage Bin Pickup
For those who find it difficult to manage the fortnightly wheeling of garbage bins to the kerbside for pickup we provide a "Driver to Collect Wheelie Bin" service where the driver of the waste collection truck will wheel the bin from it's normal location out to the kerbside, dispose of the waste then return the bin.  See this "Driver to Collect Wheelie Bin" service description for more details.
