Arts, Culture and Activities - what is going on where and how to get involved
Arts and Cultural Development in Glenorchy
Glenorchy City Council offers arts and cultural activities to the community through its Arts and Cultural Development Section. The Arts and Cultural Development section develops the program and activities of the Moonah Arts Centre as well as facilitating a range of events and projects which are dedicated to Glenorchy’s ongoing cultural development. These include policy and planning, public art and the development of a number of events and festivals as well as community projects.
Glenorchy City Council recognises that community involvement in arts and cultural activities is a great way to build community identity and pride; develop an exciting and creative community; and promote community diversity, understanding and tolerance.
