With COVID-19 limiting person-to-person contact, moving as much of a business as possible online will help businesses to continue to sell their products and keep cash flowing, supporting both themselves and our local Glenorchy economy.
Glenorchy City Council’s Small Business eCommerce Grant was created for Glenorchy small retail businesses to help cover the costs of setting up an e-commerce platform to sell goods online.
The application period for this grant ended 19 June 2020.
Congratulations to all successful applicants, it was very encouraging to see small businesses striving to find new ways online to connect with their customers. Council received many applications from a wide range of businesses in Glenorchy including car detailing, coffee roasters and restaurants. These small business owners will now be able to cover the associated fees and costs with moving their business online with the help of grant funding.
The Small Business eCommerce Grant is an initiative of the Economic Development team. For further enquiries contact 6216 6800 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
