Under this exciting project, we will see affordable, accessible public transport along the Northern Suburbs Rail Corridor within the next five years. This will encourage development, create jobs and provide transport for Glenorchy residents. It will also reduce congestion on our roads. The Northern Suburbs Rail Corridor runs from Macquarie Point, through Glenorchy, all the way out to Brighton. The Hobart City Deal, signed last year, allocates $25 million towards reactivating the Corridor – an important first step for CityLink.
