It supports open and transparent governance and promotes public trust in Council processes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Viewing the register<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In accordance with <em>section 56B of the Local Government Act 1993<\/em>, Council keeps and maintains a register of gifts and donations that have been received by Councillors.
