Minutes are usually available within a week of a meeting, subject to confirmation at the next meeting. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gcc.tas.gov.au\/ja\/%e3%81%82%e3%81%aa%e3%81%9f%e3%81%ae%e8%a9%95%e8%ad%b0%e4%bc%9a\/council-meetings\/meeting-schedule\/\">All meeting dates, documents, links and items are available online<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gcc.tas.gov.au\/ja\/%e3%81%82%e3%81%aa%e3%81%9f%e3%81%ae%e8%a9%95%e8%ad%b0%e4%bc%9a\/meetings\/\">,<\/a> or as hard copies from Council&#8217;s Customer Service Centre free of charge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Public Question Time<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>15 minutes is set aside near the start of each meeting for public questions. To submit a written question, email <a href=\"mailto:gccmail@gcc.tas.gov.au\">gccmail@gcc.tas.gov.au<\/a> at least 7 days before the meeting. Questions received after the cutoff will be held over to the next meeting. The Chair may also accept questions without notice from those attending in person, at their discretion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Watch Live or On Demand<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>All Council and Planning Authority meetings are streamed live \u2014 no account needed \u2014 on:<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/GlenorchyCityCouncilOfficial\">Facebook<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/channel\/UCHgZVv2AWgg9VHZSKsgDDbA\">YouTube<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gcc.tas.gov.au\/ja\/%e3%81%82%e3%81%aa%e3%81%9f%e3%81%ae%e8%a9%95%e8%ad%b0%e4%bc%9a\/council-meetings\/meeting-schedule\/watch-live\/\">Council&#8217;s website<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Past recordings are available on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gcc.tas.gov.au\/ja\/%e3%81%82%e3%81%aa%e3%81%9f%e3%81%ae%e8%a9%95%e8%ad%b0%e4%bc%9a\/council-meetings\/meeting-schedule\/\">Minutes and Agendas page<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/channel\/UCHgZVv2AWgg9VHZSKsgDDbA\">YouTube<\/a> (from March 2020), with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dropbox.com\/sh\/sx43h6vgssaj798\/AABg6FlRTgynKocdgYBjF-Tqa?dl=0&amp;lst=\">indexed recordings back to 2016 available here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Meeting Procedures<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Meetings are governed by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.legislation.tas.gov.au\/view\/whole\/html\/inforce\/2020-02-26\/sr-2015-038\">Local Government (Meeting Procedures) Regulations 2015<\/a> and Council&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/gcc.assets.ionatahosting.net\/uploads\/2026\/05\/Meeting-Procedures-Policy-28-July-2025.pdf\">Meeting Procedures Policy<\/a>. See the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gcc.tas.gov.au\/ja\/%e3%81%82%e3%81%aa%e3%81%9f%e3%81%ae%e8%a9%95%e8%ad%b0%e4%bc%9a\/council-meetings\/meeting-schedule\/council-meeting-faqs\/\">\u4f1a\u8b70\u5ba4\u306e\u3088\u304f\u3042\u308b\u8cea\u554f<\/a> page for further information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Ordinary meetings<\/strong> \u2014 held monthly to deal with regular business<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Special meetings<\/strong> \u2014 called to address specific urgent matters<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Annual General Meeting<\/strong> \u2014 held once per year<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gcc.tas.gov.au\/ja\/%e3%81%82%e3%81%aa%e3%81%9f%e3%81%ae%e8%a9%95%e8%ad%b0%e4%bc%9a\/meetings\/glenorchy-planning-authority\/\">Glenorchy Planning Authority (GPA)<\/a><\/strong> \u2014 deals with planning applications and related matters<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Annual General Meeting<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The 2024\/25 AGM was held on 1 December 2025. The <a href=\"https:\/\/gcc.assets.ionatahosting.net\/uploads\/2026\/05\/GCC-Annual-Report-2024-25-WEB-8.pdf\">2024\/25 Annual Report<\/a> was presented at that meeting.
