You&#8217;ll also find unique, high-quality items at a fraction of their original cost \u2014 and develop a style that&#8217;s entirely your own.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Tips for Donating<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Op shops can only sell what&#8217;s in good condition, so before donating, ask yourself: <em>&#8220;Would I give this to a friend?&#8221;<\/em> If the answer is yes, here&#8217;s how to donate well:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Condition<\/strong> \u2014 Donate only clean, undamaged, wearable items. Avoid anything stained, torn, mouldy, or heavily worn.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Wash first<\/strong> \u2014 Freshly laundered items are easier to process and help protect staff and volunteers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Pack thoughtfully<\/strong> \u2014 Fold items neatly and pack in sturdy bags or boxes.
