Elected members are responsible for setting strategic direction, adopting policies, approving the budget and making decisions on behalf of the community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Elected Members do not manage the day-to-day operations of Council.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Chief Executive Officer<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The CEO is responsible for leading the organisation, implementing Council decisions and managing Council staff and operations.
