Hire conditions<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

A bond of $500.00 & key deposit of $70.00 must be paid before the key is issued.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you are eligible for a waiver of hire fees please complete the Application for Waiver form (PDF).<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

All bookings must include the total time the hall is in use, including set up, pack down and any time equipment or furniture is occupying the hire space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The centre is available for training, meetings and corporate functions.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It has one meeting room with electric wall heating, and a kitchen equipped with a pie oven, fridge, urn and oven.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The centre has chairs and tables and is wheelchair accessible and can accommodate up to 60 people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cost<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Up to 5 hours:  $32.00 per hour<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over 5 hours:  $386.00 per booking<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The main hall has line markings for sport, and there is a separate meeting room with chairs and electric wall heating.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, oven, urn and pie oven.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The hall is fully accessible and can accommodate up to 170 people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is a foyer area where the toilets are situated.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The meeting room has electric heaters with tables and chairs.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The kitchen has a stove, urn and pie oven.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The hall can accommodate up to 190 people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please note there is no heating at this venue.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The hall can accommodate up to 260 people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Moonah Arts Centre<\/h2><\/i><\/summary>

PERFORMANCE STUDIO<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Performance Studio at the Moonah Arts Centre in Lutruwita\/Tasmania is a purpose-built facility designed to give local and visiting artists, presenters and educators an exceptional presentation experience in the vibrant and central location of Moonah.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our flexible Performance Studio is perfect for concerts, theatre, film screenings, presentations and conferences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CAPACITY<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Performance Studio space measures 9.6m x 17.6m (169m2).
With a 6m x 4m stage, the space can comfortably seat up to 130 people.<\/strong>
An unseated can accommodate up to 300 people.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

FEES<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

For artists and arts organisation, we offer the space at a discounted rate of $220 (per day)<\/strong> inclusive of staging, seating, full audio system, lighting, and projection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For business, government and other organisations, the day rate is $450 (per day)<\/strong> with the same inclusions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We\u2019re also pleased to offer a five-hour supported presentation package which includes Venue Manager, Duty Technician and Venue Hire at $924 for touring crews and $680 for performances and events developed in Tasmania.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is also a reception room with chairs, trestle tables, a piano and electric heaters, and a committee room with chairs, tables, electric heaters and a small kitchenette.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The centre can accommodate up to 200 people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Moonah Arts Centre <\/h3>\n\n\n\n

MAC offers purpose-built creative spaces for arts and cultural activities, and welcomes proposals for single or multi-space use. Presentation partnerships and long-term hire arrangements are available by negotiation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
