Glenorchy City Council is seeking feedback from the community into the potential disposal of Council owned land at Mill Lane, Glenorchy (CT 29803/5 and 43661/1) as shown in red below. This facility is being utilised for approximately 42 public car parking spaces.
Between 28 October and 11 November 2020, you are invited to have your say on whether you think Council should consider disposing of (selling) this land.
Alternatively, you can request a hard copy of the feedback form by calling us on (03) 6216 6800
Once the community consultation process has been completed, a report will be provided to Council with a recommendation on whether to proceed any further with the investigations. If Council is satisfied with the initial feedback that we are seeking from the above survey, it could then resolve to commence the statutory process for the disposal of public land which is set out in section 178 of the Local Government Act 1993. This process requires further public notification and consultation.
