If one of our winners is unable to attend on opening day, their place won\u2019t go to waste.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A new name will be drawn on Monday, 28 September 2026 to take their place among the first 25 swimmers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Get ready for opening day!<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The wait is nearly over!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gcc.tas.gov.au\/ne\/event\/glenorchy-war-memorial-pool-opening\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Glenorchy War Memorial Pool officially opens on Thursday, 1 October 2026. <\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So get your swimmers ready, grab your towel and get ready to make a splash!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We can\u2019t wait to welcome our community back to the pool and kick off another fantastic swimming season at Glenorchy War Memorial Pool.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">See you poolside!<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We\u2019re delighted to announce that the first 25 swimmers to dive into the pool on opening day have now been drawn!
