Council provides interactive maps and spatial data that will give you information about the the locations of important infrastructure and services across our city.
Council has a range of maps which you can access. Our maps show the locations of:
- stormwater infrastructure (pipes, pits etc)
- water and sewerage infrastructure (for Council-owned water and sewer assets)
- gas and power infrastructure (for Council-owned gas and power), and
- dog exercise areas.
Spatial data provides information on particular features that can be found in an area. We have created spatial data listings for:
- Stormwater pipes
- Stormwater pit
- Water points
- Water lines
- Water plan and equipment
- Redundant town gas pipes
- Sewer points
- Sewer lines
- Glenorchy mountain bike park tracks

Using our maps and data
Our maps and data can be used by anyone under our maps Creative Commons license (external link) page.
Our spatial data can also be accessed via data.gov.au (external link).
Our GIS team supports the use of open data, as set out by the Australian Government’s Declaration of Open Government (external link).
