Work will begin on the Claremont Link Road footpath, opposite the Park & Ride works, from Monday 25 May 2026 for about four weeks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Works will take place Monday to Friday between 7:00am and 6:00pm, weather and site conditions permitting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project will involve building a new concrete footpath from Pascoe Avenue (Main Road) towards Claremont College to improve pedestrian access, safety and connectivity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The current path is gravel, with no safety fence and a steep slope. Council will install a new concrete footpath and safety fence in this area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Council apologises for any inconvenience during the works and asks motorists, pedestrians and cyclists to follow all signage and any temporary detours in place.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
