Learning can open doors at any stage of life.
Let’s Learn, Glenorchy is a community campaign that encourages adults to build their reading, writing, maths and digital skills in a supportive, welcoming environment.
Whether you want to feel more confident filling out forms, helping your children with homework, using technology, applying for jobs or managing everyday tasks, there’s support available.
Improving your literacy and numeracy skills can make a real difference in everyday life. It can help you:
- Read and understand letters, bills and important documents with confidence.
- Apply for jobs, write resumes and explore new career opportunities.
- Support your children’s learning and schoolwork.
- Manage money, budgets and household finances more easily.
- Use computers, smartphones and online services with greater confidence.
- Build independence, confidence and connections within your community.
As part of Glenorchy City Council’s commitment as a 26Ten Literacy Community, Let’s Learn, Glenorchy connects residents with free and low-cost adult learning opportunities across our municipality.
The campaign celebrates lifelong learning and helps remove the stigma around asking for support, because everyone deserves the opportunity to learn with confidence.
Many Tasmanian adults could benefit from stronger literacy and numeracy skills, and 26Ten provides practical, personalised support to help people achieve their goals at their own pace.
Learning is friendly, confidential and tailored to individual needs, with no tests or judgement.
Whether you’re looking to gain confidence in everyday life, return to study, find employment, or simply learn something new, Let’s Learn, Glenorchy can help you take the next step.
Let’s Learn, Glenorchy – because it’s never too late to learn, grow and thrive.
