The Jackson Street Landfill and Recycling Centre is closed from Monday, 10 August – Thursday, 13 August 2026.

REMINDER – Temporary Closure – Jackson Street Landfill 

Please note that Jackson Street Landfill will be closed from Monday 10 August to Thursday 13 August (inclusive) while a new weighbridge is being installed.

This will not impact scheduled bin collections.

These works are an important upgrade that will improve the landfill for our community.

We apologise for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience while the installation is completed.

The landfill will reopen on Friday 14 August 2026.
