Glenorchy City Council’s Long-Term Financial Management Plan looks ahead over a 10-year period to help ensure Council can continue delivering services, maintaining infrastructure and supporting the community into the future.
What does it cover?
The Long-Term Financial Management Plan considers:
- Projected revenue from rates, fees, grants and other income sources
- Forecast expenditure on Council services and infrastructure
- Long-term infrastructure renewal and maintenance requirements
- Debt levels and financial sustainability indicators
- Assumptions about future economic and financial conditions
Why it matters
Long-term financial planning helps Council make informed and sustainable decisions that support the future financial health of the municipality.
