How to report a possible Building Compliance Issue
To report a concern, contact Council with as much detail as possible, including a description of the issue (with dates and times if relevant), and the address or location of the property. Your own contact details are optional, but helpful if officers need to follow up.
Once received, Council’s building officers will review the matter and determine whether action is required under the Building Act 2016. Note that privacy requirements may limit what Council can share about the outcome of any investigation.
