The Australian Government is inviting community members to attend an information session on the future of Derwent Barracks as part of the Defence Estate Audit and planned divestment of the site.
This session will provide an update on the announcement to transition Defence operations from Derwent Barracks and offers an opportunity for the community to hear directly from Australian Government representatives, ask questions, and learn more about the transition planning process. Defence personnel, cadets and existing site users will continue to be supported throughout the transition, which is expected to take at least 12 months.
