MONA — Museum of Old and New Art

Getting here

Glenorchy is located approximately 7 kilometres north of Hobart CBD and is easily accessible by public transport, bicycle and car. 

  • Bus services – regular Metro Tasmania bus services connect Glenorchy with Hobart and surrounding suburbs.
  • Cycling – the Intercity Cycleway provides a direct cycling and walking route between Glenorchy and Hobart.
  • Ferry access – visitors travelling to MONA can access ferry services from Hobart’s waterfront.
  • Road access – the Brooker Highway provides convenient road access throughout Greater Hobart and the northern suburbs.
