Blast off for an adventure at Benjafield Park’s destination playspace!

This much-loved Moonah park has been transformed into a vibrant space-themed playspace, with plenty of exciting equipment to keep children entertained, including rocket-ship towers, slides, spinning elements, percussion instruments and a flying fox.

The playspace features a range of accessible and inclusive play elements, making it a welcoming place for children of all abilities. It is also fully fenced, with seating, shelter and plenty of space for families to enjoy.

There are public toilets, parking, BBQ facilities and open space nearby, making Benjafield Park a great destination for a family day out.

The $2 million project was jointly funded by the Australian Government and Glenorchy City Council:

  • Australian Government – $1.5 million
  • Glenorchy City Council – $500,000

The investment has helped create a major destination playspace for Moonah and the wider Glenorchy community, providing exciting opportunities for children to play, explore, be active and connect.

With its fantastic range of equipment, accessible features, flying fox and family-friendly facilities, Benjafield Park is a destination playspace worth exploring!
