Cadbury Oval sits within the historic Cadbury Estate in Claremont, which has been part of the local community since the early 1920s.

Features

Cadbury Oval is located at 14 Mitcham Road, Claremont, and features amenities including a playground and public toilets, making it a great spot for families and community gatherings.

History

When Cadbury established its estate, it was modelled on the company’s Bournville village in Birmingham — providing housing for workers, shops, sporting facilities, a school, and parkland, all underpinned by the company’s Quaker values. The oval reflects that heritage as a community sporting space that has served Claremont residents for generations. Council also operates two external tennis courts at the Cadbury site.
