As part of Glenorchy City Council’s Capital Works Program, high-friction surface treatment works are planned along Fourth Avenue, between the Springfield Road roundabout and Second Avenue.
The project will improve road surface grip to help enhance vehicle traction and braking performance, particularly in wet conditions. These improvements aim to increase road safety for motorists and other road users travelling through the area.
The works are expected to be completed within the 2026/27 financial year.
