As part of Glenorchy City Council’s Capital Works Program, flood mitigation works are planned at Redlands Drive, including the construction of a debris sediment basin.
The project will help improve stormwater management and reduce the risk and impact of flooding by providing additional capacity to manage debris and sediment during heavy rainfall events.
These works will help strengthen the resilience of local infrastructure and the surrounding community.
The works are expected to be completed within the 2026/27 financial year.
