We’re delighted to announce that the first 25 swimmers to dive into the pool on opening day have now been drawn!
All 25 lucky winners have been contacted and notified.

A huge congratulations to everyone who was selected, and thank you to everyone who entered our competition and helped build the excitement for the new swimming season.
What happens if a winner can’t attend?
We know plans can change. If one of our winners is unable to attend on opening day, their place won’t go to waste.
A new name will be drawn on Monday, 28 September 2026 to take their place among the first 25 swimmers.

Glenorchy War Memorial Pool officially opens on Thursday, 1 October 2026.
So get your swimmers ready, grab your towel and get ready to make a splash!
