What we advocate for
We advocate for investment, policy changes and services that benefit Glenorchy residents and businesses. Our advocacy priorities reflect the Community Plan and the needs of our growing city.
Greater Hobart partnership
We work closely with the other Greater Hobart councils — Hobart, Clarence and Kingborough — to advocate on regional issues. Together we represent a population of more than 250,000 people.
Hobart City Deal
The Hobart City Deal is a partnership between the Australian Government, the Tasmanian Government and the four Greater Hobart councils. It funds major infrastructure and development projects across Greater Hobart.
