Due to circumstances beyond Council’s control, the installation and certification of the new weighbridge has been delayed.
Testing is scheduled to be completed on Monday, 17 August, 2026 with full landfill operations expected to resume on Tuesday, 18 August 2026.
To minimise disruption to residents, the landfill will be open to the public this Saturday (15 August) and Sunday (16 August).
As the new weighbridge will not yet be operational, charges will be applied on a volumetric basis during this weekend.
