Good asset data helps us manage infrastructure safely, efficiently and into the future.

We keep our asset information accurate, up to date and easy to access.

We collect and maintain data on asset location, condition, performance and maintenance history. This helps us:

  • Monitor how assets are performing
  • Identify issues early
  • Make informed decisions about maintenance and renewal

By keeping our data current, we support better planning, more efficient use of resources, and reliable community infrastructure.

Asset Information Management

Council maintains an Asset Information Management System that brings together data from a range of sources, including subdivision developments and capital works projects.

For subdivisions with five or more lots, developers must provide “as-constructed” drawings and a completed asset data table for stormwater assets before assets can be accepted as practically complete. These submissions must meet Council’s requirements to ensure data quality and consistency.
