The Berriedale Foreshore Track Upgrade has improved a key section of the municipality's foreshore walking network, enhancing access between Lowestoft Bay and Connewarre Bay.
The project upgraded the existing track to provide a safer, more accessible and enjoyable experience for walkers, runners and visitors while protecting the surrounding natural environment. The renewed pathway strengthens connections along the River Derwent foreshore, encouraging active recreation and making it easier for the community to enjoy the area’s scenic coastal landscape.
The improved track provides a more resilient and comfortable route for people of all ages to experience the foreshore, whether for exercise, commuting or simply enjoying the natural surroundings.
