Garage Sale Trail is Australia's biggest secondhand event, with around 300,000 people taking part each year.
It runs across two weekends in November, and anyone in Australia can join in — whether you’re hosting a garage sale, a car boot sale, a market, or a street party.
Why Get Involved?
Registration is free and includes a listing on the national map — seen by over 500,000 people — plus how-to guides, promotional materials, and support from Council and the Garage Sale Trail team. In 2024, the average household sale made $499, with community groups raising over $1,500.
