Claremont Community Library Mega Book Sale 2021

Pick up a bargain and support your local community library!

Come along on Saturday 16 October, 9am to 3pm at the Claremont Memorial Hall (41 Main Road, Claremont)

The funds from the book sale go back into renewing the library’s collection so they can continue to offer new choices to their readers.

There will be a great selection of thrillers, romance and crime for sale and at very reasonable prices.

Run by volunteers the Claremont Community Library is preparing to celebrate 20 years of lending books to the community.

The library has over 455 members and almost 6000 books!

It isn’t just about lending books, the library also provides opportunities for people to socialise so why not pop in for a chat.

Recently, in recognition for their efforts, the Claremont Community Library were awarded the 2021 Glenorchy Community Group of the year.

The Claremont Community Library is located at Claremont Memorial Hall, Main Road, Claremont and open Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 11am – 1pm.

Annual membership is just $10!

The library is a community lead initiative supported by Glenorchy City Council.
