Cultural Celebration Grants, 2023

Glenorchy City Council are launching a new grants program to celebrate the unique cultural diversity within the Glenorchy municipality.

The Cultural Celebration Grant Program has been cultivated to support community groups and organisations to present free, inclusive events and activities celebrating the 1 in 5 people in our City who are born overseas.

Grants of up to $25,000 are available through Council to deliver cultural events including musical performances, cultural demonstrations, workshops, food stalls or cultural cooking classes. Activities should be run in the spirit of breaking down cultural barriers and be in keeping with Council’s Community Goal of ‘Building Image and Pride’.
