Before you install a heating appliance, such as a stove, wood heater or similar which burns oil or solid fuel, you need to let us know using our Heating Appliance Installation Notification Form (PDF).
Once the heater is installed, you need to let us know that too, using the Heating Appliance Compliance Certificate (PDF).
Wood heater installations are must to comply with the National Construction Code Building Code of Australia.
