Hull Street, Glenorchy – Intersection upgrade works

6 June 2022 - 30 June 2022

Construction of pram ramps, kerb islands and new line marking will occur on Hull Road, Glenorchy at the Continental Road intersection. Minor traffic delays are expected during works, please follow all signage and traffic controls in place for your safety. For more information contact our Capital Works team at Council.

Equipment upgrade

Montrose Foreshore Playground closure – softfall replacement

6 June 2022 - 27 June 2022

Work will take approximately three weeks to replace the softfall play flooring at the Montrose Foreshore playground. The area will be fenced off and closed. Toilet and car parking facilities remain open.

Mary’s Hope Road, Rosetta – Intersection upgrade

18 May 2022 - 22 June 2022

Risdon Road, New Town – surveys and geotechnical investigations (DSG)

17 May 2022 - 29 July 2022

The Department of State Growth will be doing engineering surveys and geotechnical investigations around three bridges in New Town: at Risdon Road, Tower Road and New Town Rivulet, as part of early work on the Northern Suburbs Transit Corridor.

The work will start on Tuesday, 17 May 2022 and continue until late July 2022.

Eady Street sportsgound – new clubrooms and change facilities

6 October 2021 - 30 June 2022

Maverick Builders have been engaged to build a brand new clubroom and change facilities at the sportsgrounds. The project is due for completion in June 2022 subject to conditions. During this time the car park attached to the grounds will have reduced capacity to allow space required onsite by the contractors. Please see blue shaded area on this map.
