Join the Moonah Arts Centre for a 2-hour dance workshop offering a dynamic and contemporary movement experience for young people aged 9-12 years old. No previous dance experience is necessary.
Grounded in contemporary dance techniques, this workshop will explore self-expression and creativity, building movement skills while collaborating with other young people.
Led by DRILL Artistic Director and nationally regarded artist, Tara Robertson, Artistic Director of DRILL Performance – Nipaluna/Hobart’s youth dance company, where young people take the lead as performers and creators.
Bring a drink bottle with water, and a snack for the break in the middle of the class.
Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing, and cover those knees – ready to roll around on the floor and have fun!
