Waste and Recycling Collection
There are no changes over the Christmas and New Year period and all other waste collections will occur as normal. Wheelie bins are to be placed on the kerbside prior to 6.00 a.m. on the day of your collection.
During Council’s Christmas closure period if you have any questions about your waste, recycling or FOGO collections please call Veolia Environmental Services on 03 6244 0000.
The Jackson Street Waste Management Centre
The Jackson Street Waste Management Centre (the landfill) will be closed on Christmas Day. Normal opening hours will apply on all other days. Please go to the Jackson Street landfill website for real-time information, sometimes bad weather can force the landfill to close temporarily.
Recovery Shop
The Recovery Shop will be closed on Christmas Day and Boxing Day. Normal opening hours will apply on all other days. http://www.recoveryshop.com.au/
Tolosa Park
Tolosa Park will continue to open every day, including Christmas Day during Council’s closure period.
Opening times are:

Moonah Arts Centre
The Moonah Arts Centre will be closed from 12 noon Friday, 24th December and re-open at 10.00 a.m. on Tuesday, 11th January.
Berriedale and Benjafield Child Care Centres
The Berriedale and Benjafield Child Care Centres will be closed from 12 noon on Friday, 24th December and will re-open at 7.30 a.m. on Tuesday, 4th January.
