GCC Service Level Manuals

Glenorchy City Council’s Service Level Manuals explain the standard of service Council provides when maintaining and managing its infrastructure and public spaces. They set out what work Council undertakes, how assets are prioritised, and how quickly Council responds to different types of issues, based on available resources and funding approved by Council.

Service Levels are important because they provide a clear and transparent description of what the community can reasonably expect from Council, and how Council makes decisions about maintenance and service requests. They help ensure services are delivered consistently, fairly and safely across the municipality.

The Service Level Manuals apply to a wide range of Council‑owned assets and services, including roads and footpaths, stormwater infrastructure, parks and open spaces, facilities, vegetation management, bushfire mitigation and central business district (CBD) maintenance.
