Stormwater Improvements – Riverview Parade, Rosetta

25 August 2025 - 18 November 2025

We’ll soon be upgrading stormwater pipes and replacing the footpath, kerb, and gutter between 14 Riverview Parade and Mitchell Avenue, Rosetta.

To do this, we’ll need to close one lane at times, with traffic control in place.

From 27 September, during the school holidays, the road will need to be fully closed for a short period while we install a stormwater pipe across it.

We’re sorry for any inconvenience this causes and ask residents, drivers, and pedestrians to please follow the signs and use alternative routes where needed.

Pedestrian and traffic improvements – Renfrew Circle, Goodwood

13 August 2025 - 1 April 2026

Stage two of the Renfrew Circle pedestrian and traffic improvements will begin on Wednesday, 13 August 2025.

The scope of works includes the installation of new stormwater infrastructure, removal and replacement of the existing concrete footpath and kerb and channel, followed by reconstruction of the road pavement.

As with the stage one works completed last financial year, new raised traffic tables will also be constructed at the Allardyce Avenue and McCartney Avenue junctions.

These works will involve temporary road closures, with access maintained for residents only.

Metro Tasmania has been notified and will implement a temporary bus detour during the construction period.

Council apologises for any inconvenience this may cause and kindly asks residents, motorists, and pedestrians to observe all signage and use alternative routes where possible during work hours.
