Hear Our Voices

Hear Our Voices Multicultural Women's Gathering is a free event on Friday 4 May from 9am to 2pm at the Moonah Arts Centre, 23-27 Albert Road, Moonah.

Glenorchy City Council, in partnership with the Migrant Resource Centre, City of Hobart, Catholic Care, Tasmanian Health Service and Save the Children are working with women from a range of cultural backgrounds to host the annual Hear Our Voices Multicultural Women’s Gathering.

The annual gathering gives women of all ages and cultural backgrounds an opportunity to develop friendships, practice leadership skills, make connections in the community, find out where they can access support and be inspired by other women who will share their experiences.

There will be informal workshop style discussions, sharing stories, music, dance and food, throughout the day. A child friendly space will be available for young children.

Contact Glenorchy City Council’s Coordinator Community Development, Jill Sleiters on 03 6216 6800 or email jsleiters@gcc.tas.gov.au. RSVP is essential
